Pindex is a new ‘social bookmarking’ smart phone app based on the principle of pins which are commonly used in Apple and Goggle maps. Pindex utilises the principle of dropping pins to save and remember places of interest; i.e. Restaurants, Bars, Clubs, Exhibitions but saving them in an easily accessible and visual interface. Whilst integrating various social media networks so that users can follow their friends’ places as well as food critics, theatre critics and other public figures. Further development will include user reviews. The rating system on reviews will encourage users to become a ‘top critic’.

Pindex will allow people to make the most of where they are. Discover and learn about great places nearby, search for what they’re craving, and get deals and tips along the way. Best of all, Pindex is personalised. The users create the content and plan their own trips.
